Structure Of His Goal Letter:
If you fail to plan, you plan to fail. Inspired by Bruce Lee to start writing a letter to your future self? You may want to get a backbone of how your letter should roughly be. Our previous post on, “A Letter To Myself”: 10 Guidelines To Write!, might be able to give you some important pointers to take note when you start writing your letter.
- Start your letter with a title
Give your letter a compelling title and place it in the center of your paper. Underline it to give it a style in your writing. Make sure your title is not more than 7-8 words. Some examples of the title of your letter could be “My Definite Chief Aim”, “My Goal In 2020” or “My Personal Goal For 2020”.
- Write your full name
Including your name in your letter makes it feel more authentic. It will feel more personal once you read that very letter in the future.
- Get and give in the future
Write down what you wish to achieve. Jot down what’s your goal and how you will contribute back to the society at the same time. In life, it’s not about how much you can receive. It’s also about how much you can contribute.
- Set a timeframe
You should have a timeframe set to your goal as it will create a sense of urgency. This will subconsciously put your mind into a state whereby you’re working towards your goal. Make sure you set realistic goals within that timeframe.
- What will you do/feel once you achieved it?
Just imagine achieving what you set yourself up for. How does it feel? Empowering? Energetic? Anchor your feelings and emotions towards your goals. This will help in a much greater level than just knowing what you wish to achieve. This point goes side by side with The Secrets, the power of how believing your goals are achieved can make your dream come true.
- Write as if you already done it
Like mentioned above, the power of believing is so strong that you literally made your mind into a magnet that attracts whatever you desire.
